Hey guys,
I am not sure where this thread belongs but...still - its a bug - probably not a VM bug though ;D
Check out this video:

To put simple - I have a crazy slow virtuemart component. Anything within component reacts very slowly but the rest of Joomla is OK. Its J! 3.9.0 and VM 3.4.2. PHP is 7.1 I think and MySQL is probably 5.6.something... Hosted on hostgator... Weird thing is that it was all good one day and the other day it was suddenly slow like this without any change happening on website... I have no caching plugin and caching is disabled in Joomla...
hostgater is no ones favourite here..

but maybe something to do with this?

Yeah I was affraid that you will say that hostgator is the issue... Problem is that we usually use Czech hosts and I can tell now that they are very good even when compared to a larger international host companies... I am using hukot.net on most of my websites for example and the hosting costs around $15/year!!! And its hosted on SSD fields, great uptime and virtuemart is blazing fast on it... Not to mention that guys in this company are available via phone 24/7 - yes I call them on sundays pretty often and its a direct cell number not some automatic voice machine... Compared to this - hostgator is Xtimes more expensive and not as fast (by far)...
But the problem is my client wanted international host and hostgator looked promising... I never knew it could cause such trouble... And its been prepaid for 3 years up front...
Anyway - thank you very much GJC for the links I will check it out!
Have a great day!
