Title: Customer note missing/not working correctly
Post by: keora on September 20, 2018, 18:44:37 PM
Hi Everbody!

So I got no customer_note field in my VM for whatever reason.

I tried to create one on my own, but it looks terrible.

Any suggestions what went wrong and how to correct it?

Sorry I only attatched the pictures, I don't know how to show them in the post.

Edit: My bad: VirtueMart 3.2.14,  Joomla!-Version 3.8.12

Is a custom template.

Looks like a custom template. Have to adjust the css to your liking. Vm and joomla versions? Updated ? New install etc ?

It was a plain new installation, together with the template.

Adjust the CSS to Your liking. Or ask the template provider.

Hi Jörg!

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I don't know which css affects the custom fields to extend it to the original custom field and I couldn't find the answer. Where do I have to look it up?

You can start by using the inspector in Your browser, activated with right click "inspect item" or F12.
This will give You clues om where to change.
You can often place adjustments in file called custom.css. Depends on Your template. Changes in other files vanish after updates.

I still wonder, what happened with the original field?
