I'm using Virtuemart 3.2.12 and using a 3rd party plugin for my search module which is Universal AJAX Live Search as per them it is compatible with VM.
For my search module, I tried to set the Target search page to "Joomla default search page" and do some searching on my frontend, I tried inputting keyword and entered it I'm getting "This page isn't working. Currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500
Can you please help me?

Turn on error reporting on the server and and read the logs. If you can not see in the logs: Deactivate as many joomla additions as possible and watch the moment the plugin starts working. Turn on other add-ons sequentially. You will draw conclusions when this plugin stops working :D
