If the plugin did not work as specified and you cannot use it - then you should really get a refund.
Usually we buy all the extensions that we think are good and then we test them.
What is the end result of many years of using 3d party extensions in the end?
All extensions never do what we want, so we will either modify the extensions in the next time, or write to the developers, or finally program our solution.
I recommend investing and trying several different ones. It will come back to you.
