Title: Confirmation emails sending multiple times

Hi,

Joomla 3.8.4
VM 3.2.12

This was happening on other versions of Joomla and VM though

We are having an issue where the confirmation email of credit card payment orders only are sending to the customer sometimes 5 or 6 times and sometimes only once. This does not happen on internet banking orders. Any ideas what may be causing it?

Otherwise is there a way to stop them sending completely and then we will just manually flag them to send a confirmation?

what payment plugin ? Is probably connected to the payment plugin.

It is called DPS PXPay. the website we bought it from seems to no longer be up so I can't link it. Everything else on it works great. Do you have any idea on what the line in the php file of this plugin would say to send emails?

I may just have to go through it line for line to find it.

I am able to send the php file. I have had a hunt but theres nothing that stands out to me.
