Print Page - Products per page in session

I'm sure I miss a setting, but I can not find out which one. So please someone help me.
The products in the category are 6 by default. If I choose 12 products and go to another category and then go back to the first one, the products are again 6.
It is not the case with Virtuemart's demo. I tried with Protostar, but the effect is the same.
Do I miss something in the configuration?

VM 3.2.4
Joomla 3.8.1 (It was also tested with 3.7.5)

Are you using "System - Page Cache" plugin or any other page cache extension?

No, Jumbo. Nothing associated with cache is enabled.
