This message always appears as media paths are set:

category: images/virtuemart/category/
Product: images/virtuemart/product/
Manuf: images/virtuemart/manufacturer/
Vendor: images/virtuemart/vendor/
Sales: images/virtuemart/sales/

I checked the directories exist.
What's the problem?

My versions: J3.7.2 + VM3.2.3

Check if saving your VM configuration solves the problem. If the message does not go away, it is possible that it is caused by an old plugin, which has not been updated to the new paths ('stories' was cut out from the path). Might be something like an old version of AcyMailing for example.
