Process is :
Log in on the website
Put some items in the cart
Log out
Back the next day or 1 year later
The cart is still empty with the items you put in the past.
It will be better to remove the shopping cart saved 24 hours after log out.
Is not possible.
The carts are stored on database. Maybe you can write a custom PHP-Script as cronjob and delete the carts.
