A client has a Multilanguage site already running fore a year or so.
Now she wanted to change the category description.
default language is dutch and the extra language is English.
When we go to edit the categorie. change it in dutch first, store it and then change the language from dutch to English to change the English description.
Now I see only a language flag near categorie name and sef alias but not at the description field, We can type anything but it keeps overwriting it with the dutch text. any one any Idea?

If you updated Joomla, you need to update Virtuemart too.
See http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files and get 3.0.18.6 or 3.0.18.8 or last beta. (edit by mod, no please use vm3.0.19.8 !)
But do not forget to do a backup, or try on a copy of your website.
In all case to prevent hack, it's better you do it and this certainly fix your problem.
