Hi,

I want to set up some sort of communal user that multiple shoppers can login in as. They will login - when we give them details - and gain some benefits but we don't want them to sign up exactly. I can do all this except from an issue I have when they check out. The email address of the user is carried in to the order form and will then end up overwriting the actual email that we carry through to our DB order system.

Is there a way of keeping the email address they enter instead of changing it to the one attached to the shopper?

I don´t understand, Your question, You are using a customized login and want someone to explain how it works for You ?

btw, please update Your Joomla You are using an unsecure version.

Maybe at checkout hide the original shopper email with css (or don't publish the field on checkout forms) and add another email enry field. IT could just be a text box in which they enter their own email so it gets stored with the order/address but does not replace the actual email address assigned to the original shopper.

I will try that and see if I can make it work.

I don't understand you either Jorgen? I don't need help explaining a custom login, perhaps you have misunderstood. Either way, thanks for the advice on updating.
