Can I add virtuemart into my wordpress website? or do i have to change my wordpress website into joomla?

I know that some development work has been done on producing a Wordpress version of VM but it is not released yet
maybe Max can add a prospective release date?

and no .. there is no compatibility between joomla and Wordpress extensions
