HI I wander if someone can help me or whether someone has had the same issue?
I have Virtuemart 3.0.14 installed on Joomla 3.6.2, all other notification emails work such as Confirmed, Shipped etc., however for some reason the 'Low stock notification" isn't working, we are not receiving any email.
Below are the settings I've changed which I can see that potentially relate to setting up the Low Stock Notifications:
1. Product -> Products, Set the product "Low Stock Notification" to 1
2. Configuration -> Shopfront, I have ticked "Send low stock notification"
3. Shop -> Shopper Information, under User Details I have selected YES from the Receive System Emails radio button.
4. I then purchase product and set the status to Shipped the stock count goes down by one, it is now on 1. However no notification.
I can't see if there is anything I'm missing here, its weird that other notifications are being sent!
Any help would be much appreciated!
You are using old versions, so update VM to 3.0.18 at least - several issues have been fixed since 3.0.14. http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files
And you must update to Joomla 3.6.4!!

Check if you have new Joomla users with administrator permissions - if so hackers have paid you a visit!
