Title: User field during checkout

I need a checkbox field at checkout named "Tax exemption" such that when user checks, corresponding tax over product is removed and vice versa.

I know about custom field option in virtuemart, but those are managed from back end. i need user managed field (user have privilege of including excluding tax during checkout). Kindly guide me how this can be achieved.

Check the avatax plugin. There are exemptions integrated

Hi Milbo

I've added Avalara VM - Calculation tax rule . Enabled "tax_usage_type" in shopper fields. But I'm unsure of its usage here in my cart. Now The products are displaying without tax included.
Suppose I have a product with base price $257.00 . I want 6% tax over products so now price becomes $272.42. With Avalara included, base price is $257 only at checkout. No tax included.

Can you guide me over product taxability rules!!
