Title: SEO Strict mode
Post by: ClaudioRomeo on November 19, 2016, 23:45:40 PM
I'm testing the 3.0.18.4 version.
In the SEO tab of the Configuration page there is the new Strict mode option. Its tip says "The strict mode maps only entries of the same menu".
But what does it mean, in a practical way? Why should it have an impact on SEO?
I'm not a developer, so please forgive my stupid question.

The Itemid is just the menu id. The strict mode loads only menu items of the current menu, so you do not suddenly jump to another menu. This can be handy, when you have a store with different templates and you use only one menu per template and you want to controll the templates by the used menu.
