I have inherited a VM site that I had to migrate up from J15/VM 1 up to J3/VM3.
I was able to migrate everything and got it all working again except the custom fields. I don't understand what the buttons in the tools tab are for in regard to Remove old vm2 inherited customfields ad Update vm2 order format of customfields to vm3 format. That sounds like it would remove the fields. I don't want to remove them, I want to get them back... Like I said, confused...
I can't find actual documentation (at least in the migration instructions I was using) that mentions what to do to get old vm1 custom fields moved up to vm3. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction?
I did run a backup and then try using both of those buttons I mentioned in the tools panel. It didn't seem to do anything... Like I said I am lost...
Did you ever get a solution for this? i have the same problem :'(
