Hi all,

JHtmlGrid: :sort file not found.

Back to control panel

I write to hosting - They told me that it is probably should be problem caused of some automatical update (i dont know about any)
they found me in error log many errors from yesterday evening: to example first od that is:

JHtmlGrid: :sort file not found is often associated with a failed or corrupt Joomla update which you say you have not done. However, Joomla 2.5.25 has critical security issues which have been known about for about a year, so you should consider hacking to be a possibility.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0

The PHP warning is coming from yout VM2 cart plugin, not part of default VirtueMart, and in any case, warnings can be turned off.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102555.0

You have right, you have no chance to know if i have current backup - luckily i have one and backup was succesfull, parfumylacno (http://www.parfumylacno.sk) is now working.

Is there anything to do with this issue and for prevention - can i found by some way what have caused  this problem? If it was really hack? I think that there is no way to found it out what caused this problem, but for sure, i ask if anyone had simillar expirience..

i know that best way would be update to newest Joomla, but for now i can t update, so i will see .....

thanks a lot for your help, thank you
have a nice day :)

Problem is, that if it was a hack, you are highly likely to get hacked again very soon now that your old version has been found!

At the very least update Joomla to 2.5.27 and apply the remote code execution security patch.  https://docs.joomla.org/Security_hotfixes_for_Joomla_EOL_versions
