Title: DIY Joomla 362 - VirtueMart 3.0.17.6 bundle
Post by: panoss on September 02, 2016, 19:07:55 PM
As we know, there is already a 'bundle' of Joomla 2.5 - Virtuemart.

I was thinking: what if I copy the tables of Virtuemart from as site created from the bundle an copy them to an existing Joomla 362 - VirtueMart 3.0.17.6 installation?
And add the menus in Joomla.

Will it work?

Or if in a hurry there is an upgradable package,  VirtueMart3.0.16_Joomla_3.5.1-Stable-Full_Package.zip on http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

The reason why I was thinking of this is because in the bundle you have already a shop set, with menus, with sample products and everything!

VirtueMart3.0.16_Joomla_3.5.1-Stable-Full_Package.zip does..

but imho this is only useful the first time u experiment with VM to learn how it works..
