Title: [Solved] VM3 - Virtuemart Plugin for medicine courses
Post by: Hiago D'O.S on August 06, 2016, 20:39:45 PM
Hi,

I'm a developer Joomla and I need a plugin or something that make that or like that, when I click in a product and buy it, I will have a link to access a page who it appears a list with the links of my product, the idea is each product contains some video links in their "inside"(because I will insert the links in virtuemart with custom fields etc) The products are medicine courses so they will need to have links, I have seen something like in web but it was to modify the type of product for download. In this download page when I click in these videos after I purchased the product (medicine course), not necessary a popup that appears after the clicked anchor(<a href="#">) (can be fancybox, or I do myself), what I need is the purchased links of that product. The user can have access to the videos, but if him not bought that product, him can't have access to any video of that product or of the others products.

Follows attached some concept pages to understand better what I'm saying.

#edit I dunno why but the forum display the current attached itens only if I'm logged lol

I'm not sure VM is the right tool for this.. what you want to do is sell access to parts of Joomla

Maybe it is possible with VM but I would look at Joomla extensions for selling subscriptions etc

Yeah this is a good idea, but the courses are selling as a product. What I want is if the user buy the product he will receive the access of the specific medical course, if I do with membership extension I must to create plans to gain access to some articles in joomla, but if I will have 20 courses, how I will sell it as a product? I'm not sure if the membership extension can help or does it have a way to simulate a course as a product with the membership extension? Can you explain to me better what is your idea?

This is a model of how I want to do, but I not want everything only the part of sell and purchase the videos.

You need to choose your "membership" extension carefully .. I have used some.. normally they sell access to a Joomla group

each course is defined by the Joomla group it is accessed by.. 20 groups in Joomla is no problem -- just set them up, add the course videos and sell access
