Title: Cost price
Post by: Midhat on May 30, 2016, 21:01:47 PM
I'm trying to configure the product price in my shop. I want the following configuration cost price = base price = final price.
I set that tax 0%, but we always base price is increased by 11% over the cost price.

How can I solve this?

Regards,
Midhat

The cost price currency is the same as the final (shop) currency?

Now is:
Cost price = 1
Base price = 1,1139
Final price = 1,11

I want:
Cost price = 1
Base price = 1
Final price = 1

Sorry,
I was not register your question because I thought it was not possible that prices have a different currency.

How can I fix this?

Change every Product price to correct currency and shop currrency to the same. Then it should work.
Prices should change dynamically.

I have tried but failed.
Then I deleted all products and left the euro as a single currency, but still base price and the final price is $ Currency

You have to set the currency for the SHOP, in Your case Euro not USD.

You have it set to USD.

Did the shop currency solve the issue ?

Please tell us what You did, because it is not obvious when looking at Your answers.

I don't know.
Shop currency  even before was euro, and currency products too. But my cost price was in € and base / final price in $
I deleted all the products, set all currency to the dollar, then on euro again. After that everything is OK. Perhaps the problem is that I installed Virtuemart in the quickstart package

There are too many people who have problems with quick start packages. I would suggest they are not really the best way to go about building a Joomla/VirtueMart site, but the packages do appear to make it easy. But to sort out the related problems is not easy.

totally agree - I see so many problems with sites started this way..  And I really don't see any advantage.. how hard is it to install Joomla then VM?
