Hi

strange - for some reason the VM website is not offering me 3.0.16 when I hit download the download link (gives 3.0.14) but in my website admin panel it says to upgrade to 3.0.16

the upgrade from the extension manager doesn `t always work with my host - is there an option 2 for getting the current version?

There always has been, http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files This is where we would expect experienced VM users to get the update files from, so they can use Joomla's extensions mamager to install the updates, obviously first on a backup copy of their site.

VM3.0.16 is having a "soft" release, but is the required version for Joomla 3.5.1
