Title: Checkout not working - Just says Your cart has been updated

Hello I am using VirtueMart 3.0.14 / Joomla! 3.4.8 and the Captiva template from Energize Themes - I am having and issue with checking out. I have Authorize.net setup and am using Free Shipping. JoomSef is installed but it disabled... when I add something to my cart and try to check out... all is fine until I go to hit Confirm Purchase where I assume it should try the transaction through authorize.net - but instead it stays on the same page and I get a message that says  Your cart has been updated. Site is located at http://www.newvointeriors.com/new16/

Any ideas on how I can fix this... Thank you in advance.

Oh and one last thing, I was going to try the prostar template to see if it did the same thing, but I have obviously deleted.

You have some http: calls on your https: page, especially the chat widget which can cause browser alerts & issues, and some other errors.

Check with SSL turned off (obviously with dummy card data), but the first check should always be to use Protostar or Beez, so they should never be deleted! 

You can re-install J3.4.8 and those templates shopuld be re-instated. Or consider updating to J3.5  - but obviously do all tests on a backup copy of your site.

OK I now have a clean https as I did find that chat script error and removed it... but still getting the same result.

Not really sure how to fix the one below.

How do I reinstall the Prostar template without over writing my database.... Is there a Prostar template download somewhere?

just take it out of the Joomla install zip.. ftp to the templates and "discover"
or zip it and install

Thanks that worked... I tried the Prostar template... and everything processed just fine... so it must be the template, however I have another site on the same server using this template working just fine so I'm a lttle confused why I keep getting "Your cart has been updated" when I try to pay.

No, good point the one that works is VirtueMart 3.0.8 - Is there a way to go backwards?

but why would you want to go back to an unsafe older version?  ( I have no idea if just installing the old version would work and very unlikely to have been tested)

Cleaning up your hacked site ( and it will happen .. I have often a couple  to fix a week)  will cost far more than a either fixing or buying a decent current template

Yeah, I agree, but the customer really likes this template so I need to figure out how to fix it... any ideas?

100's  ... but basically compare the current code in the stock VM templates to yours and replace or fix...

I ended up creating a support ticket with Energizer Themes - they fixed it... Have no clue what they did. http://www.energizethemes.com/index-php-option-com-rsticketspro-view-submit/
