Hi All,
We're trying to apply specific shipping charges to specific products. For example; Product-A will have a shipping charge of $5, Product-B will have a shipping charge of $1, and Product-C will have a shipping charge of $2. The prices are not based on weights or sizes. We can't seem to figure out how to set this up in the back end. We can't use the actual Shipping Methods section because those can only apply the shipping calculations based on weight. We tried creating Tax and Calculation rules to add a specific dollar amount and then in the Product setup page we selected that as a Final Price rule, but when doing that the Rule is applied to all products for some reason. In the Tax/Calculation Rule we even tried adding in the specific Manufacturer for the product, but the rule still gets applied to all products in the front end. Is there something obvious we are overlooking here? There must be a simple way to add a flat shipping charge to a product.
Thanks,
CJ

not that I know of.. basically you need to map ship price to product and for that you generally would need a table...
I have built (still a bit of a work in progress) just this sort of extension and it is currently in use on 2 sites and all feedback is good
It is an installable integrated component...

I will take a look at your add-on. That might be what we need. Any idea why our tax/calculation rule is being added to every product instead of just the one we configure it for?
