I want to know is there anyway virtuemart system can send mail to vendor every time someone click on "Confirm order". In the current scenario it sends mail only after order is confirmed.
I've already searched forum for solution to this problem, but no luck.
I'm using paypal as the only payment method for my shop.
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

If I remember correctly, this can be achieved with the settings shown in the attached screenshots. (Correct me if I'm wrong) ;)
It didn't worked, i added a new order status "Confirmed by shopper" and assigned it to Pending transactions in paypal payment settings.
But unfortunately i'm still not getting any mails and surprisingly order status has the status of pending.
Did you check if the primary email address in your PayPal account settings matches your email in VM's PayPal configuration?
Pending is only sent to admins! Pending is not a real order
