Post by: AdriaanV on February 04, 2016, 12:07:44 PM

So I start from scratch using the hottest/ stable versions I could find ...

Why does the Virteumart-AIO button result in a 404 component not found ( yes i did install the AIO package in the right order ;-)

Any useful suggestions are welcome ;-)

So the quick answer is ...
Well known bug once installed and tested the page don't bother about the AIO button since it will not work ;-)

Its not a bug.. it is simply that a component is used to install the plugins etc otherwise the complete installer would be above 2MB which many cheap hosts don't allow
That comp is only in the admin but afaik Joomla requires / auto males a menu to it .. there is no interface

Not a bug at all, but it would be better if Joomla did not show the menu link. There is no facility in J! to stop that happening.

There is probably a BOFH episode (~ 1990 or so )about this type of issue calling it "Works as designed"
