As far as I can see you don't have many products in your shop yet. So I don't really see the necessity to use a VPS. A shared hosting account should still do well. My own shop holds approximately 1000 products in two languages in it's database and the performance still is ok, even though I had to move the site from a shared server holding 75 websites to another server holding 250+ (=slower) websites recently, because my previous hosting company sold their business.

Maybe you should check/optimize your database first using the phpmyadmin tools and uninstall unnecessary extensions. (Do you really need K2 for your shop?).
Also you might check max_execution_time and memory_limit  in your php configuration. The memory_limit should be 128 or 256.

In case you choose a new hosting company, I would ask if they are going to offer php7 in the near future, because Joomla 3.5 is planned to be php7 compatible, which seems to give a significant speed boost.

There is a list of hosters. Personally, if you are near of germany, you may use hetzner.

I use www.unitedhosting.com for both UK and US clients, and have done for more than 10 years now. They have servers in the US as well as in the UK.
