Title: redirect add to cart link to a external site url

I have setup products in 3.0.12 and have in the product url box the link but when checking the site the add to cart button goes to cart not the url
How can I fix this? I've looked for several hours on site and forum but can't find a fix.

Please provide following:

- Joomla/VirtueMart version
- URL where this problem can be seen

@LOYD exactly where in product config did you set the product url?

Not sure what you exactly mean but all seems to work for me. Products are properly added to cart at store front page and at product page. Once product added to cart a pop window appear (Continue Shopping | Show Cart)

in vm2 when the product _url box was populated with an address it would go to that link address instead of the cart as it does now in vm3 that what I want to happen
