Title: error with paypal IPN NOTIFICATION

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help me with this - error with paypal IPN NOTIFICATION. I have read old posts with VM2.


I am using the following:

Joomla 3.4.8
VirtueMart 3.0.12
PHP version - 5.3.29
An error with your payment method paypal on your store. The details are logged in the file paypal.2.log.php

Inside the log file:

The product purchase completes as it should. Payment to PayPal is made, but I get the following error message via email every time a transaction is made.

2015-12-02 06:46:44 ERROR IPN notification: wrong merchant_email: Array

If anyone can assist me it would be appreciated.

and does your vendor email match your paypal email?

search on here.. I seem to remember something about multiple PP email addresses etc

Thank you for your response.

Do you mean the email setting under Virtuemart/Shop/third tab - Shopper Information. If so no these emails did not match as client set up the PayPal account under his personal email address rather than the business email address.

If this is not the vendor email you are referring to can you please indicate where to find this.

as I remember it it was a problem with multiple emails registered with Paypal.. have they more than one..?

No they just have the one email registered with PayPal. I have also just found out they are not receiving the automatic emails to the vendor when a purchase has been made. When testing PayPal in sandbox mode the IPN error was not occurring and the invoices were received by the vendor. All this has changed when taking PayPal out of testing mode.
