Is anybody else experiencing this? Everything was working just fine until I upgraded J! and I didn't find this out until after I'd put in another 8 hours of work on the site. I could restore to the previous version using my backup (always take one before any major changes) but then I'd lose the whole day's work with it. I'd rather not do that.
All my pricing in the store is intact. The only place it's not showing is on the invoice. No unit price, no math, no trigger for payment or shipping. Just the list of purchased items and their respective variants.
Anybody?

Nobody has anything on this? Could really use some help here. My site is now useless because of this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....
Ok at some point in the last couple of days my site went down so no one could look and see what my problem is. I've rebooted the server and all is back up and running again. Could someone please take a look now and give me some idea of how to fix my problem?
Thank you....
What are u referring to as the "invoice"? the pdf produced or the email sent etc?
Please give more info and screenshots etc.. afraid when we start logging into sites etc it becomes time to charge as all this is done on a voluntary basis...
Thank you for your reply.
The missing Prices and Totals are on the Confirm Purchase screen. I haven't taken it any further, there didn't seem to be much point.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer....
ah.. then a completely different from "invoice"
This is normally a JS error preventing the product being added although I can't see one
IMHO it normally means the template isn't vm3.0.12 .. but can't see how a joomla (extremely minor) update could effect this - are u sure it ever worked on 3.0.12?
Speak with the template designer would be my advice
Thank you for the input. The site and original template worked very well with 3.0.12. In fact if I remember correctly you and I were working on an issue with VM3 back in September and how variant labels appeared on the Confirm Purchase screen just before 3.0.12 was born. From that point forward everything was working perfectly. My mistake was in making two changes at once (both supposedly small) and then piling on tons of work after that before performing a full test....lesson re-learned.
I have put a ticket in with the template designer so we'll see where they're at with it. In the meantime I'll roll back to the original template and see what happens. At least I won't lose a ton of work that way.
Thanks for trying and the advice.
Take care....
The template folks are not being overly helpful. I've put in a second ticket with my latest observations and more details on the problem and we'll see where we go from there.
I was reading a similar issue on this forum and tried the solution there (complete Shopper and Vendor information sections. Some random stuff just disappeared for some reason) but that didn't fix my problem either. This is getting to the point where I'm going to have to just pay someone to help me because I'm getting nowhere.
Where do I sign?
well, it does need some investigation probably at a code level... the item/s are being added but the prices aren't displaying
I tentatively withdraw my "template" suspicion (although I'd like to see the site tested on protostar)
then some investigation needs to be done to see if the prices are calculated and passed to the cart object or not.. if not why
I agree with your conclusions and your approach going forward.
How do we proceed?
Hi,
I noticed you are using one of our templates. Just wondered if we can look at the issue?
Please check your PM.
Thanks
The problem is solved at last! What was the culprit, you ask? Not what but who....ME! Seems during the course of making my ton of product updates I slipped and disabled Show Prices (too easy right?) and never noticed.
GJC: No we know why you never heard of the problem before....nobody ever turned off Show Prices and complained about it....LOL!
Thanks to everyone for your help and a special thank you to Paul at Virtue Mart Templates for finding and fixing the problem....and he never even laughed at me....(out loud anyway)...:)
