Hi
A site which is in the process of going live won't complete the checkout process.
All is well up to the point of the last step - buying. All that happens is that a popup message appears saying the cart has been updated. Clearly this is a priority for the client.
I'm using virtuemart 3.0.12 with Joomla 3.4.8.
I've also noticed that I don't habe the AIO Component available - all I got is a 400 message . I seem to recall that it offered to update or check tables.....
I've reinstalled aio and virtuemart, but no change
I'd be grateful for assistance in solving the problem

David

I've turned the site on for catalogue. I'll turn on the shop so you can try.

I just added some Stofffilter Öldunst, gross to the cart and reached checkout - all looked OK.
Hi
Thanks for taking a look. Yes, adding stuff to the cart and getting to the checkout works fine. What doesn't work is actually buying ie. paying. There seems to be a loop which just updates the basket but doesn't lead to the billing part.
why does your Adresse eingeben/bearbeiten redirect to a Joomla login ?
This is completely wrong
have you got a restricted registered menu to the user page or something?
You can't if u have
Oh dear :-(
I'm not sure where I've gone wrong, in that case. How do I ensure that virtuemart is the only registration / login form available?
I really appreciate your help.
Quotehave you got a restricted registered menu to the user page or something?
that incl. hidden or disabled etc.. get rid of any restricted menu to any VM view
Ok - I've done that. I've also turned off joomla registration. That bit seems to work.
However, there is still a loop preventing the payment process.
I've looked at the products in some detail and it semms the client has defined the weight for some in grams and for some in kilograms. Would this affect something or does virtuemart convert weights?
If not then there might be a problem in selecting the relevant shipping option which would stop the process. Is my thinking here correct?
it depends on the shipping plugin .. some check .. some don't (they should check and convert but there are some sloppily coded ones around)
I can't even register .. no errors are shown even with the form completed
Joomla MUST be able to register!
why are no errors shown on the form?
have you tried with the std Protostar template?
Ok. Registration works.
I've just tried with Protostar and there I could complete a payment. So I guess it's the template?

yep.. sadly there are some "not so good" out there..
who is it from?
virtuemarttemplates.net
I thought they were pretty good. I've raised a ticket with them now.
Thanks for your help - it's really appreciated.
