Title: Looking for a good 3rd party one page Check Out

I paid for one a few years back, but could never get it to work right.  I'm ready to try again.  any suggestions would be great..

I only use authorize.net payment gateway..

the two popular ones are Rupostel OPC and the VirtualPlanet one  .. have used both.. both do what they say on the tin

Rupostel has a lot of extras with it

The one by Rupostel mainly for the incredible amount of extras and the amazing support by Stan.

 I went with the VirtualPlanet one.  Had a couple small issues and the support was Amazing!!  I couldn't be happier

My vote also goes to VirtuePlanet One Page Checkout. Their products are excellent, and getting better all the time.

The trick is..  is to make sure your default check out works properly first.  These poor guys are doing a lot of helping that is out of their scope..  Mine ran flawlessly for 3 years before I made the move to try a OPC again.  thank for the recommendation.. it is working great..

You are comparing a one page checkout to a one page checkout which includes dozens of Extras. Sorry but there is not a component that comes near the OPC by Rupostel. With all the respects for VirtuePlanet which ofc works fine and looks great (we use it too in another website). But the OPC of Stan is like 15 components in one. He solves most problems of VM just with his system and we won't be using VM without it.

The problem of VirtuePlanet and the other wannabe Rupostel OPC is that they are plugins and therefore they can never work 100% out of the box in all templates etc.

It is about getting the best solution for an individual site. I have used both Stan and Jumbo's checkouts for client sites, and in most cases the simplicity of VP OPC plugin works in its favour, and it is easy set up and to customise if required. For a store with much more complex requirements then the Rupostel component may be a better option, but it does take longer to set up to suit each site.  I would not say that one is better than the other.
