We have a few questions about selling downloadable products (mp3 or zip files)

with the latest version (currently VM 3.0.11), what is the best way to do this? Also, the site currently charges flat rate USPS (priority) shipping. For product downloads, can we ensure that there are no shipping charges applied? Any guidance is appreciated.

Use weight to set shipping rate. eg downloads zero weight = free, shipped products have a weight so shipping = charged.

VM3.0.12 is the current latest.

Thanks for the extension suggestion for product downloads.

Because we haven't entered weight for any of the 3,222 products already in the VM store, that's gonna be a bit of a headache. Ha. Thanks for the shipping recommendation as well.

You could add weight quickly in phpMyAdmin or with CSVI
