Title: Virtuemart Email Logs

Hi folks
Does Virtuemart (or Joomla) keep a record of emails sent for each order anywhere. My problem is a client claims they did not receive an email for an order and didn't know to process it until they rang and complained. The order can be seen in the backend of Virtuemart but I don't see any emails for it in Spam or Junk or their inbox. It is only one that has been noticed like this so far.

short answer - no -- no record is kept of emails

If this is the only one that ever failed probably not much...  IMHO email sending generally can not be 100% reliable... 99.9% perhaps but "stuff" does happen

As I assume the client got theirs then seems more a reception than sending glich

This would be a nice feature.

If they emails are sent from an existing and monitored email account, then in case of failure you must got an email message back with the failure's details
