I am really struggling to get an answer anywhere on this so hopefully somebody can help me here. I have orders in my joomla website that include names and telephone numbers when submitted. However; when the order becomes confirmed - after being pending - the names and numbers are stripped from the ship to fields. This is a major issue for our order system down stream and we need the fields to remain populated. Does anyone have a possible answer or cause for this?

I am using VM3.0.11.4 using default VM templates, and nothing is stripped out from the shipping field either in the BE or in the delivery note & invoice.

Thanks for the reply, I failed to mention that we are using one page check out also, could that be a possible cause? I am a little worried about updating as everything else works so well and I have had so many problems with this site.

It could be OPC related so test without, but you should alwaays use the latest VM version, subject to installing it first on a backup copy of your live site. VM3.0.11.4 is the current latest, VM3.0.12 will be released soon.
You really have no choice about updating. The Joomla security issue was so critical that warnings went out to Joomla users a week before the patch became available. And on the same day the patch was released details of the exploit were posted so that the script kiddies could get to work hacking sites.
plus the joomla 3.4.5 patch is tiny.. have never seen a problem on any J3 sites i have done
