Hi Guys
I'm stuck with a site where I can't get past the checkout button. Would there be a common solution to this or is more details needed? Basically everytime I click the Check Out Now button it just stays/reloads on the same page.
I tried a backup from a few weeks ago but seems like it was a problem then too. I don't want to go back further unless necessary as it will loose order history. Urgent help would be much appreciated.
VirtueMart 3.0.10
Joomla 3.4.4

Appreciate the help.
PS. Would a login help?
And if you change to Protostar, can you check out then?
Unfortunately it was a kickstart template with no options for beez or protostar. I can probably look about a download of the protostar template and install it if you think it might be worth testing.
I have a feeling it has been an update from a few weeks ago but wasn't noticed that the full check out procedure didn't work. My fault for not making a purchase to test.
My Host will have a backup previous to the updates but it will loose orders that have since happened but I guess that won't be the end of the world, just an inconvenience.
Protostar provides a good way to test because it excludes any template or override problems after updates, which are very common with commercial templates.
You could always rule out issues with template overrides by renaming the directory at templates/[your Joomla template]/html/com_virtuemart so that the default VM template files are used.
Also make sure that you have fancybox enabled in VM Config/Templates/Activate Css Styles & Javascripts
I have got Protostar installed and if I go through the checkout procedure I get an "Error, you are not authorised to view this resource"
Fancybox is already enabled too.
The PHP version was updated recently to 5.5, would this have had an affect?
Unfortunately couldn't get this resolved and had to revert back to an old backup, lost a few customer orders in the history but not the end of the world. This takes me back to an older version of Virtuemart 3.0.9.1 so unless there is some bug that doesn't agree with my template. Learnt my lesson though, make sure and do a Live transaction/purchase before assuming the checkout actually works, ensure and download all backups before updates, and perhaps wait until your extensions have updated to be compatible with the new VM updates.
Thanks for your efforts Jenkinhill.
