Post by: CE WebDesign München on October 19, 2015, 08:17:39 AM
hi,

just read about an issue in joomla
https://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5633-important-security-announcement-pre-release.html (https://www.joomla.org/announcements/release-news/5633-important-security-announcement-pre-release.html)
and wondering if old versions are affected and if there will be a fix for j2.5.28?

kind regards,
chris

This is really a question for the Joomla forums.....

"Joomla" are releasing absolutely no information about the nature of the threat or the affected versions, just that everyone must update their VM3 to 3.4.5 on Thursday.

If a fix for 2.5.28 is necessary I would guess that Phil Taylor will be working on a patch.

Thank you jenkinhill, that's good news.

Can you give a hint how or where a patch for J2.5.28 will be announced if necessary?

Best regards, Chris
