Title: Coupons lost when upgrading to 3.0.10
Post by: role74 on October 16, 2015, 14:48:47 PM
Hi there

Just realized that after upgrading VM3.09.4 to 3.0.10 I've lost all coupons.
Anyone noticed the same issue, so i'ts a general upgrade issue or it's just my setup?

Fortunately I've got a backup and restored them manually.

I had this on my live site running J2.5.28 and testing enviroment J3.4.4

cheers from switzerland

same issue - however table xxx_virtuemart_coupons does exist with data - there appears to be an additional vendor id field.

unable to access coupons from backend interface - help!

does the vendor field just need a 1 entered?

Sounds for me like a broken Multivendor setup.

Usually you should see the coupons as Superadmin, regardless the vendorid. So either you use a restricted account, then you can enable the ACL "Vendor manager"

@gjc = yes!  experimentally added a coupon and vendor_id created was 1
in phpMyAdmin:
all existing vendor_id's were set to 0
changing those to 1 resolved the issue

the ACL for vendor switcher should have solved it also.
