I am using the Filter extn by Break Design.

The Filters are not marked as Cart Attributes. Still the filters are showing as Attributes.
The first product of the latest products is showing the attributes (both in module position and the product page).

How do I have the filter to not show it as attribute.
Break Design people say that it is out of scope of Break Design.

You are probably referring to Custom Fields which of course it is a Virtuemart feature.
You need to go to each of your custom fields and in their settings set
