Could you possibly advise a tool that can migrate child products from VM 2.6.6 to VM 3.0.9? I use Day Counts VM migrator and I have been dealing with the support for more than 3 weeks, provided them a sql export of source database with quite complex products (stockings) that have combinations of color, size, and other options. The eshop should have been released a month ago and there is still no progress. :(
So far I have been very satisfied with this Migrator, but in this case I may need something else...
Anyone has any experience with that?
I am sorry, but I really wonder waht you do. You dont need any migrator from vm2 to vm3. the installer is doing it.
Except the stockable is not updated correctly, it must be replaced by the new Multi variant.
I don't understand what you mean. I do not perform an upgrade. We are compoletely moving to Joomla 3 and a new template. Are you saying that if I make a copy of old 2.6.6, upgrade it to 3.0.9, it will take the child products and import them without any problems?
Or do you mean some other way to do it?

How can I replace the stockable customfield by multivariant? I hope we do not have to add everything manually again...

The current state is that the stockable plugin is not provided in VM 3 and no one will (or have time) to fix it for Joomla 3+ vm3 .
Yes, I know, I spoke to Max. I have removed the stockable custom fields, created new multivariants and now I am manually assigning them to parent products. It's a lot of work though....
when I compare the database tables, I see why it not simple to extract all the information...
I've the same problem with child products.
I'm looking for an automatic tool to adjust stockable to multivariant because I've 4000 product and I don't want to do it manually.
Any solution?
