Title: Can't assign VirtueMart Categories Layout menu item in VM 3.0.9

Hello.

Testing new VM and trying to create a new menu item of "VirtueMart Categories Layout" type, but when page is refreshed after picking this menu item type the required field "Select a Category *" is disabled. That is why i cann't to save a new menu item. What am I doing wrong? Or may it be a VM bug?

The categories view was removed in November 2013. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120433.0

You probably still have a historic categories directory in components/com_virtuemart/views/

Hello. I have a "categories" folder there may be you talking about it. Do you know how to remove this broken menu item type?

AFAIK it will be removed when you remove the old categories directory.
