Title: Different prices per different currencies
Post by: sandomatyas on April 11, 2015, 08:14:51 AM
Is it possible somehow to set different prices per differenct currencies?
I mean there is a product which I want to sell for €10 but if the customer wants to pay in USD I don't want to use the currency converter, I want to set a specific USD-price.

You don't give any versions, but this works for VM3.0.7
If your base/vendor currency is Euros, on the VM currency list open the USD to edit details. Set the Exchange Rate to the value you want to use. If left as 0.0000 the currency converter module will pull the exchange rates from the European Central Bank once/day. Do this for any other currencies you want to use, and then it is a good idea to unpublish (don't delete) all unused currencies.

Why do you not ask the correct question? What you want is to set your own currency rate. Different prices per currency are possible.

Because I (actually my customer) don't want to use currency rates at all. He wants to set exact prices per currencies. I mean if you set a rate and your price is un Euro, maybe your USD price will be e.g. $10.33 but he wants to set it to $9.99. But If he changes to currency rate like this, it won't work with other prices. So he wants to set 'nice looking' prices to all of his products, so the rate isn't the same in every case.

That's what they are saying  - set a fixed rate in the currency management to give this

although I see that this won't give you a fine grained conversion
