Ok. I dont know why I am struggling so much with this, but I am trying to add t-shirts to my store, with an option of branding and shirt sizes.
I got the shirt size option right, but I just cant get a customer input text field showing and working.
The issue is this:
I goto Custom Fields under Products category.
I create a new Custom Field, and select Plug-ins, then select textinput, save.
I then goto the product, goto custom fields, and add what i just created or the textinput will be displayed.
It adds fine, but when I press save/save & close... nothing happens. Doesn't allow me to save it!? Only allows me to close.
Has anyone had this issue?

It did happen on some earlier versions of VM... could you take a page image and show us what you are doing.
And you need to tell us the versions you are using..
And could you have a look and see if other plugin options also do strange things..
Then just test -- on a fake product .. and only us a custom filed text input .. no other option..
FIXED. I just updated VM to the latest version
