Hello,
I have an eshop in 2 currencies linking from two other sites. What i'd like to do is to be able to show prices in the currency depending from which site they visit my eshop. e.g *visiting from SITE1 --> EUR, *visiting from SITE2 --> USD.
Is this possible? I found how to do it with languages but not with currencies. What should the links look like? And if it's not possible is there any other way to do what i need?
Thanks in advance.
take a look on the currency switcher module.
Hey Milbo, thanks for your reply. I have the currency switcher module. My site has EUR as default currency and i wanted to link to my site with USD prices directly because some clients don't see the switcher although its in a very obvious place.
Probably you will have to apply some 3rd party extension...
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/extension-specific/virtuemart-extensions/language-currency-switcher-for-virtuemart
or this
http://cmsmart.net/virtuemart-extensions/virtuemart-currency-languages-conveter
yeh and our localiser does similar.
I see. I was hoping that i would be able to pass that through a url and avoid installing new ext. I'll have a look at your suggestions. Thanks again for your replies!

yeh, you can do that. The currency switcher does it imho that way.

I guess you are not reffering to VM currency selector module right?
A link to the module would be greatly appreciated
Why do you think I refer to another?

Because i do not find anything about that. It passes the options through POST but i don't see how i would be able to do what i want.
vm checks the request. So you an use what is done via post there, also via GET=URL

I see. I'm a bit of a newbie. Will have to investigate to find out how to do it.
Hi again. I've been looking for a way to do what i need but to no avail. Is there someone that could help a brother out a bit? Thanks in advance.
Any help? Kind of stuck and it's important for me to find a solution :(
None is looking or ever wanted this solution?
