I´d like to use the modal image effect shown in product photos, in the html for categories. I mean when you click on a picture and its enlarged and zoomed. Is that possible with an override for the category and use rel="vm-additional-images" in the link? What should be added in the override?

I am thinking all that is needed is .js file. Or am I wrong?

This has been asked before on this board, more than a couple of times, so try a search. You need to make template overrides to utilise the existing js files.
