I am facing the following problem
I have upgraded from Jooma 4 to Joomla 4.1 then when I went to create a new product
the tabs in the product form Save and Save&Close they weren't responding.
I use the latest version of virtual mart.
I tested the same on a Joomla 4 site after upgrading Virtual mart to the latest version no problem at all
I use Helix II framework for the site
Before upgrading the product form was working fine.
All the other forms in Virtual mart are working without a problem.
This problem I thing is a bug is only appeared after I have updated Joomla from 4 to 4.1

I have just reinstalled Joomla_3.4.0-Stable-Update_Package in two sites and the problem was solved...
I am using PHP Version 5.5.16
Virtual mart latest version 3.0.6.3
and Joomla 4.1 back to Joomla 4.0
I have tested already existing products in the virtual mart and I have added new ones, the tabs are working fine for me even the extra fields that I have created are working fine too.
Note: I am using a Synology NAS server with the latest operating system DSM 5.2 for developing my Joomla sites

Is it just as simple as dropping the Joomla_3.4.0-Stable-Update_Package over 3.4.1? No database adjustments were needed?

Well no in my case I haven't used phpMyadmin to alter anything although I have re-installed Virtue mart twice the data were not alter at all. As you know when you install re-install Virtue mart only the shell change not the data in the data base
I did that through extensions manager not via Virtual mart that's why the data in the database were intact.
Right now I am adding more products oops the cart is not working. ooops
Well I managed to solve the problem again.
The problem is called cross incompatibility issue a term from biology but also a term used widely in software engineering when you develop systems.
Joomla 4 and VM 3.0.6.3 have this problem meaning although similar systems when you try to joined them are not compatible 100% in other words they don't mix in the end.
How do you solve the problem.
I did the following in this manner.
went to extension manager and i did the following in that order
1st go to components and uninstall Virtue mart 3.0.6.3
2nd uninstall virtulamart-aio that will install all plugins
3rd go to module and type virtual mart and delete all the relevant module
4th go to plugins and do the same
5th do a fresh install of all components of Virtual mart 3..0.6.2
6th go to your top or main menu and readjust the menus and sub menus and publish them because due to re installation they will not have correspondence to virtual mart categories

you will get that message —— Component 'com_virtuemart' does not exist.
All your data are in the fields in the previous vm databases
Do not and I say do not attempt to clear data or else through Virtual mart Tools section if you don't know you will destroy all your data
Finally all parts including cart works again fine in Joomla 4.0 and VM 3.0.6.2

I did a fresh install on a clean subdomain of VirtueMart 3.0.6.2 and Joomla 3.4.1.
Editing or creating a new a product in the backend: Save & Close, Save and Cancel button do not work....
VirtueMart 3.0.6.4! Resolved it.
