I want my costumers to choose from images in stead af text. But I don't know how to create drop downs with images. I use Joomla 3.4 and VM 3. Is it possible? And if it is - how can I make it?
If it isn't possible, I would like to show images in a line, and then costumers can choose by clicking the image or a button. How can that be done?
Where do you want these images and what should they be of? Products? Custom fields? Menu items?
And please always give the precise VM version. VM3 is nowhere near accurate enough.

We sell special made windows and doors. In products we create a default product, from wich costumers can type width and height of the product they want (extension Costum Size), but we also want them to choose design from drawings, paint in 8 different colors and glass in 6 different types. Of course I can make drop downs in costum fields, where they can choose colors and glasstypes from names, but to know what the names means, they must be able to see images of the variants together with the product. When it comes to designs there are many variants, and they have to see the drawings to be able to make a choise.

Is it possible in costum field to make an option where costumers choose from images in stead of names in a drop down?
Pn me please, I am already working on that. I wanna add it to core. There are already some people ordering it, will be cheaper for each of you then.
Ok :) Maybe I can solve the problem with the images, if I change the structure, but I don't really know how...
If costumers in shop :
1. Choose category from images ( fx windows)
2. Choose between four diff. types of windows - again from images/drawings
3. The chosen window appears and costumer fills in dimensions ( Costum Size) and press the link" Choose glass"
4. An image of different types of glass appears with its names on and costumer chooses type of glass from a drop down. Then press a link" choose color"
5. An image of different colors appears and costumer chooses from a drop down. Last step : add to cart .
With all the informations the price is calculated.
My question is : Which step in the process must be category, product, children?? I know, that I'll have to begin with "category". I' m new to this, and I can't seem to get a clear picture of the structure in the buying process.
