After an installation of com_virtuemart.3.0.6 in a Joomla version 3.4 VM is not working well: everything can be set in the backend. So categories and products. In Fronted but no product images are displayed when using the categories. It was not until another test page with the Joomla version 3.3.6 VM works properly.
My guess 3.4 (MySQL 5.3) is not compatible with VM
Hence my question:
is known as to when there is a compatible VM version?
Wave
Edit
I set the database to 5.5 and Virtuemart works
I have the same problem.
I have a new domain and i have installed Joomla 3.4, when i install VM 3.0.6 the entire site is blocked.
how I can resolve?
thank's

this is a J3.4.0/VM3.0.6 - php 5.4.38 - mysql 5.6.22 in build -> http://test2.gjcwebdesign.com/heidi/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=category&virtuemart_category_id=1&Itemid=134
working fine - it was though an upgrade from J3.3.6/VM3.0.2
@framassimiliano - blocked? what does that mean?
Sorry for my poor English, i'm writing from Italy...
when i installed VM 3.0.6 on my Joomla 3.4 i cannot use Joomla.
On home page i have a message error on sql.
I don't know how resolved it, so i deleted and reinstalled all Joomla.

Joomla does not change the MySQL version installed on the server!!!!
And I also have VM3.0.6 running on J3.4 with no problems.
hello Kelvin,
What database do you have? 5.5? or ....?

Edit
I set the database to 5.5 and Virtuemart works
I use MySQL 5.5.42
Minimum requirement for Joomla 3.4 is MySQL 5.1+ http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html
@framassimiliano - and the error is?? (they print them for a reason.. ;) )
@wavebrook - so upgrading your mysql solved it?

Yes after the set on 5.5 works viertuemart
thanks for the support

There is a known problem with PDO testing in J! 3.4.0 when PDO is not activated on server.
For now, I didn't find problems with VM 3.0.6 and Joomla! 3.4.0 except language in popup on multilingual site.
I created a topic: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=128564.msg441865#msg441865

yes - re PDO on J3.4.0 -> https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Class_%27PDO%27_not_found
you need to enable PDO and PDO_MYSql extensions on your server
but not sure this is what wavebrook had -- @wavebrook - what was your mysql version before you changed it?
There is already a patch for the PDO error. Amongst a lot of other fixes for J3.4 as the issues list grows even longer! http://issues.joomla.org/
