Hi, I've been looking for some time now on this forum and google but still have the sam problem, hope someone can help.
I'm using Joomla 3 and Virtuemart 3

I've succesfully created a generic child variant in custom field, and from the parent product i can select any child product and the stock and picture changes.
But then when I'm then on one of the child products I still see the parent and brother drop down menu but when I select them nothing changes.

Any idea? Thank in advance :)

Exactly which VM3 version? Have you looked to see how it is done in http://demo.virtuemart.net/
