Title: Making super user / admin a Vendor
Post by: simonbown on February 13, 2015, 01:55:07 AM
I'm using Virtue Mart 2.9.9.2 and Joomla version 3.3.6.  I'm really sorry to bother everyone, but I can't seem to find out where I go to make may super user / admin a vendor.  I saw the message - Please fix this in your phpMyAdmin and set #__virtuemart_vmusers.user_is_vendor = 1 and #__virtuemart_vmusers.virtuemart_vendor_id = 1 to one of your administrator users.   But, I am not so great at this.  Would someone please, please give me more of a step by step on which buttons I need to hit to get to this location to make my super user / admin a vendor.  I know it is probably something I should be able to figure out, but I have been looking for the last 4 hours.  PLEASE HELP ME - My most sincere thanks for your help.

VM2.9.2 was a test/development/beta version for experienced users. You should be using at least  VM3.0.4 security release - http://virtuemart.net/news/latest-news/467-release-of-virtuemart-3-0-4

To create vendor see the red text in this FAQ:  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99353.0

I'm using joomla 3.4.0 with VirtueMart 3.0.6.2 and I have some issues..:
1. I cannot set user as a vendor beacuse when I go to PHPMyAdmin, at #__virtuemart_vmusers I have empty table, nothing to edit. fig. 1.png
2. Whwn I go to orders & shoppers / shopper I can't make my user (super user) a vendor, and when I open my user, there are  dropdowns for Country and State/Province/Region  which are empty, I cannot select anything.
3. I created one test product and the price isn't showing, not in the backend (fig. 2.png) and not in the frontend (fig. 3.png).
