Hello,

I would like to accept credit and debit cards, but I have no idea how this works.
I found the plugin Paybox on VM 3, but it is only available in Europe.
Then I checked paypal, but they are charging a monthly fee of $30 in addition to their already high transaction fees.

Could someone please explain and refer me to a good solution?

You will have to pay some charges or commission whichever system you use for payment. Paypal is about the cheapest, but my US clients generally use Authorize.net - http://www.authorize.net/

Thank you. Paypal is about the same, but does not charge a setup fee like Authorize does.
