I have 20 Manufacturers. And I have 200 Categories. In an average, Each Manufacturer contains new about 10 Categories of Products. So, How can I configure the menus to get the Product filter by Manufacturers and Category.
W see wehn creating a menu, we can configure menus with the following way...
VirtueMart Category Layout
VirtueMart Manufacturer Default Layout
VirtueMart Manufacturer Details Layout
But I want to get the products as per the Category and Manufacturer. Such as ... Notebook > Acer ... If I click on Acer Submenu, Then I should get the products of Notebook and its manufacturer must be Acer. But in "VirtueMart Manufacturer Default Layout/VirtueMart Manufacturer Details Layout" we got there the categories only.
the way I do it is have the manufacturer also as a top level category - link to that
When added to the menu, links to products manufacturer of the parent category, give a very unpleasant effect:
Namely, in the transition from the menu just to any parent category subcategory (not goods categories manufacturer) to the reference product is appended manufacturer.
It turns out that's what: http://www.mysite.ru/accessories/category1/сonverse/product-detail.html
And to be on logic: http://www.mysite.ru/accessories/category1/product-detail.html
And against all the goods from sub fits only one manufacturer referred to in the created menu created last:
It turns out that's what: http://www.mysite.ru/accessories/category3/сonverse/product1-detail.html
It turns out that's what: http://www.mysite.ru/accessories/category4/сonverse/product32-detail.html
(in this case the case, absolutely all goods all subcategories appended to the last manufacturer "converse" though producers in the menu is not less than 10)
and so on.
Links to categories and products to manufacturers of the parent category in this menu are the same nesting level (the parent category is for them, "parent element").
Of course you can spawn on the links to the manufacturer of each sub-category, but it is ugly, and quite heavily. And like the beautiful: in the parent category links to the manufacturer to withdraw all of its products.
Who faced a similar problem, tell me, is there a solution?
